Legislature Approves New Funds for Lake Agawam Improvements

The latest grant for Lake Agawam is now officially approved - the Suffolk County Legislature passed Resolution 1009-2013 on March 5, 2013.

This award will provide $50,500 toward the cost of additional drainage structures to be installed at Bowden Square. This is a 50% matching grant with a total cost of $101,000.

Members of the Lake Agawam Conservation Association provided support letters for this grant application: David Bohnett, Mark Fichandler, Paul Travis, Chuck and Ellen Scarborough, Barbaralee and Carl Spielvogel, and Helene and Whitney Stevens. John Halsey of the Peconic Land Trust also provided a letter.
