New $140,000 Phase II Grant Underway

Jun 12, 2012

The first grant, for Phase I, was $100,000 from New York State for drainage structures on Hill Street. That was completed in 2008, and the actual cost of the project was $158,000. The Village funded the difference.

The Phase II grant is $140,000 from Suffolk County. This one is currently under way; we're waiting for the design to be approved then it will move to construction. This project will provide for drainage structures at Lola Prentice Park (near the police station on Windmill Lane) and at Bowden Square.
